We celebrated Pongal with our Balavica school students in January 2020!

Our own President S. Ganesh created a model of a farmer and his field to teach the students about the harvest festival. This year, we covered the outdoor space with grander decorations including sugarcane leaf garlands, more Pongal kolam and a traditional backdrop for photos!

The children and staff all dressed in traditional attire to this celebration and we cooked sweet pongal that everyone enjoyed at the end!
